BEGINNING
Anuradha Thakur has graduated in Fine Arts from Pune. Her paintings depict the lifestyle of Adivasi women. She has given us the unique opportunity to experience the abstract feeling like love, living together, openness in their relationships, transparent communication, respect to women and rhythm in the life of tribals. She has portrayed women with respect and dignity, without necessarily revealing them. The use of simple perfect lines and the black and white colours in her paintings clearly emphasize the transparency, clarity, their simple needs, contentment, faith and also express the depth and harmony in the life of the Adivasis. Hence these colours and lines complement the subject thoroughly.
