He has also had several group shows
and participated in artist camps in India and abroad.
His awards include Certificate of Merit in Annual exhibition
of Govt. College of art and Craft, Kolkata, 1973, 1974,
Governor Award from Govt. of West Bengal and Academy
Awards from Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata, 1980, 81.
Presently, the artist is working as a Reader, Dept.
of Drawing and Painting, Kala Bhawan, Visva Bharati,
Shantiniketan, Kolkata.
