Her views about her work
My Repertoire predominantly consists of works on the
female figures done in oils. The oeuvres on display
depict the many facets/moods of a woman in the environs
of color… Snatches of verses woven into the medium
stoke the imagination…..
I have worked on simplification of the female form
with major emphasis on the expressive faces… Trying
to put forward her moods and the expression of how a
woman picks on the various paths with a blink of an
eye and a warm smile. A woman with courage and determination.
Here is an efforts to portray the woman through the
expressive medium of art… As once said in the
words of Albert Camus, "Without culture and the
relative freedom it implies, society, even when perfect,
is but a jungle…. This is why any authentic, creation
is a gi9ft to the future.
