JULIUS MACWAN

Julius Macwan was born in 1968 in Mumbai. He completed his BFA (Painting) from Sir JJ School of Arts, Mumbai (1986-92). He lived and worked in Chennai, where he founded the Julius Macwan Institute for Art Education, after which he moved back to Mumbai in 2004.

He has participated in various exhibitions like the "Five Easy Pieces", "The Horses Mouth", "New York Sketches" at the Alliance Francaise Gallery, Chennai, Art Folio, Chandigarh (2000), Androgyne Group Show, India Habitat Center, New Delhi, 20/20 Group Show and Apparao Gallery, Chennai.
