Born in Austria. Left Austria during Nazi occupation
of World War II. Chairman, Bombay Art Society, Bombay.
1939 Art Director, Times of India, Bombay. Worked in
collaboration with Mr. Kekoo Gandhi in designing frames
for paintings, Chemould Frames, later named Gallery
Chemould, Bombay. Played a matchless part in bringing
art patrons and artists together.
