Artist Profile |
Vrindavan Solanki
Vrindavan Solanki was born in Junaghadh (Gujrat) in
1942 and has received his Diploma in Graphics from the
M.S. University (Baroda).
Solanki is fascinated by the people of Rajasthan, which
he draws in black and white in an inimitable style.
He captures their innate beauty while concentrating
greatly on their attire. His manipulation on light and
shade leaves a photographic impression on the canvas.
With many awards to his name, he has exhibited his
paintings widely both in India and overseas.
